Day one of Farmworker Awareness Week starts in our South County, Pescadero Community! We created a mobil food pantry in collaboration with Second Harvest of Silicon Valley to address the food insecurity our predominently farmworking communities are faced with. Thanks to this partnership we are able to ensure that 100 families have access to fresh fruits, veggies and culturally appropriate ingredients. Thanks to our wonderful high school volunteers for making this food distribution possible! ♥️

¡Comienza el primer día de la Semana de Concientización sobre los Trabajadores Agrícolas en nuestra comunidad de Pescadero, al sur del condado! Creamos una despensa móvil de alimentos en colaboración con Second Harvest de Silicon Valley para abordar la inseguridad alimentaria que enfrentan nuestras comunidades, predominantemente agrícolas. Gracias a esta colaboración, podemos garantizar que 100 familias tengan acceso a frutas y verduras frescas e ingredientes culturalmente apropiados. Gracias a nuestros increíbles voluntarios por hacer esta distribución de alimentos posible! ♥️
